Prairie Mountain welcomes volunteers and appreciates the time families and community members give to support our students. Before volunteering on campus or at any school‑sponsored activity, Bethel School District requires all volunteers to complete the district’s volunteer application and pass a criminal background check.
This helps ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone. Once you’re approved, you’ll be ready to volunteer throughout the school year.
Approval may take several days — we recommend submitting early.
School Cents is Valley River Center’s community rewards program that turns everyday shopping into support for Prairie Mountain. Families can upload receipts from Valley River stores and restaurants, and every dollar spent earns points for our school. Throughout the program year, participating schools collect points that determine their share of up to $15,000 in rewards.
You can submit receipts through the School Cents website or app, and bonus point offers are available throughout the year at select retailers and events.

Prairie Mountain accepts donations that support students, classrooms, and school activities throughout the year. Contributions help fund field trips, science and music programs, classroom and health room supplies, graduation celebrations, family events, and more.
All donations directly support Prairie Mountain students and staff.
